A part of me.

If you would not be forgotten as soon as you’re gone, dead and rotten, either write things worth reading or do things worth writing.” – Benjamin Franklin

... Proof that i'm a nikehead.

Watch me send it in and get a paycheck from Nike.

.. My mother came to visit

Visiting New York to do some shopping for her son's wedding preparation, Beverly Best landed herself a tour of Queens College.

Abruptly After my Spanish class I took My mom on a tour of the Campus. Nobody ever believes that something this beautiful exists in the city so many trees and a diverse set of people the lack of smog in this particular area and the smiles allow the suns rays to inhabit this section of New York.

We took pictures and then we proceeded to see the city to get more props for the wedding.
I took some photos of what seemed to matter to me most on our escapade.

We got off the E train and got out on spring street and walked through Chinatown. The back streets were filled with tents of goodies.

So much people, So much food.

My mom had a cup of ice cream, I had a Chocolate Cannoli.
I loved this day.

We kept walking and we found ourselves looking at Jade Ornaments.
We took an unbelievably long time there.

It's Grub time, I mean we didn't go to a 4 star restaurant we were on the go and needed something to munch on that instant.

We had Hot Dogs. Yeah! Yeah!! I know The Bush Administration Blah Blah!! we were Hungry.
So Mom had hers with no mustard and i had everything but the kitchen sink on my Hot Dog, I figured if i'm gonna have a hotdog might as well go all the way.

I had a lot of fun, and more Food than usual. See you later Mom.

Love You.

Film .... my passion.

when you give up an addiction you become edgy, cranky, removed. The real self healing patch for an addiction is, to find your passion.

Film is my passion.

Most people like the idea of a movie, others go on to think about a sequel or even if the story had an alternative ending. Then there are Filmmakers.

Films are created and are certainly a doorway of answers. Films may correspond with what the individual is experiencing in life right at that moment of viewing. Some films may not pertain to individuals but one day, they just might.

Here is a short film that i truly appreciate called PRODIGY

A gifted young man must choose between fulfilling the dreams of his father, or pursuing the passion in his heart, directed by Brandon Camp, this film was excellently written and also shot with pure genius in mind.

Police: Problems on every level.

When it isn't corruption, they have their own problems.

[adult swim]... intern.

If i were [adult swim] intern, I would keep the theme of the bumpers between shows but i would encourage a lot more unheard music.
I am 27 years old now and I still watch more adult swim than CNN.
I watch more BBC than CNN but more adult swim more than both combined.

Do you remember as a child the TV would be on a channel and you would run to the room and change the channel, before your parents saw what you were watching CARTOON NETWORK was that channel at my house.
My parents were so tired of me watching Cartoon Network that if i were to watch Porn they would be relieved.

Now i'm older and they put all my shows on Boomerang.
like the Flintstones, the Jetsons, ect.
Boomerang

I have truly grown with cartoon network, now in my adult years my prime stage I have adult swim which takes the follies of everyday life and turn them into something humorous.
Now that my field Media, Film Photography and literary, I guess a Job at adult swim would pay really good entertain and seeing that I grew up with this station I would have it's true essence in mind when i'm co-ordinating the show line up.

I sent my resume now i sit and watch TV [adult swim] till they call.
I was assertive with NBC i keep walking in to their studio for a media job but adult swim is out of state......

Knight Rider.

A shadowy flight into the dangerous world of a man who does not exist.

Overheard/Underheard about celebrity-voiced GPS, we at Speech Technology are happy to announce that readers can now have Knight Rider’s KITT (actor William Daniels) guide their every movement as they drive to the supermarket or to the post office or into the back of a eighteen wheeler to rendezvous with Devon and the rest of the Foundation for Law and Government.

As an eight year old growing up I was already blown away by cars. There weren't Flat screen TVs but the tube that was in existence showed us motion pictures and brought me KNIGHT RIDER.

Director of Photography....

On set, the Director of Photography or DP supervises the camera and lighting crews, and he or she will work closely with the set designers, costumers, and makeup artists. Often, the Director of Photography and theDirector both have final say over which cuts will be included in the finished piece, and the two work closely together to achieve the desired look. The Director of Photography will use lighting, filters, and a variety of camera techniques to shoot a scene in accordance with the wishes of the director.

Now everyone with a camera is a photographer, but it takes an immense amount of skill, patience foresight and creativity to be a Director of photography.

I ran to the front of the train to get this shot...
My vision as a director helps me see what people neglect on a daily basis.

That point in the timeline of the event taking place,
where the photographer takes their picture at  that precise moment,
enabling the perfect shot.

The Great Dane....

Ostrich Omelet.....

These are Ostrich Eggs. They may taste a little funny but one egg can feed 10 of your friends.
The Ostrich, a flightless bird known for its powerful legs and standoffish appearance is a very tender meat.
The merchant was selling Ostrich wallets and Ostrich burgers even ostrich steak slabs and of course the Ostrich eggs.

Horse shit...

Horse Shit.

More Horse Shit.

The Horse Shit Continues.

Times Square cleaning up the police officers mess from their horses.

King Richard the III.......

Richard:
Now is the winter of our discontent
Made glorious summer by this son of York;
And all the clouds that low'r'd upon our house
In the deep bosom of the ocean buried.

Chess

The rules of chess (also known as the laws of chess) are rules governing the play of the game of Chess While the exact origins of chess are unclear, modern rules first took form during the Middle Ages. The rules continued to be slightly modified until the early 19th century, when they reached essentially their current form. The rules also varied somewhat from place to place. Today Fédération Internationale des Échecs (FIDE), also known as the World Chess Organization, sets the standard rules, with slight modifications made by some national organizations for their own purposes. There are variations of the rules for fast chess, correspondence chess, online chess, and chess variants.
Chess is a game played by two people on a chessboard, with 32 pieces (16 for each player) of six types. Each type of piece moves in a distinct way. The goal of the game is to checkmate, i.e. to threaten the opponent's king with inevitable capture. Games do not necessarily end with checkmate – players often resign if they believe they will lose. In addition, there are several ways that a game can end in a draw.
Besides the basic movement of the pieces, rules also govern the equipment used, the time control, the conduct and ethics of players, accommodations for handicapped players, the recording of moves using chess nation, as well as procedures for irregularities that occur during a game.

.... and i'm a NIKEY head.....

Nike (originally known as BRS), was founded by University of Oregon track athlete Phil Knight and his coach Bill Bowerman in January 1965. The company initially operated as a distributor for Japanese shoe maker Onitsuka Tiger, making most sales at track meets out of Knight's car. Many top Oregon runners began wearing the shoes, and the shoe's popularity grew quickly. The company's first self-designed product was based on Bowerman's "waffle" design in which the sole of the shoe was inspired by the pattern of a waffle iron. (FOOD FOR THOUGHT)

Fascinated by the sleek design i decided that when i was old enough and can handle my own income only NIKE would caress the sole of my feet.

some random AIRMAX 95s

success, performance and leisure, all wrapped in one, dramatic cushioning for the sole and the cause for heads to look down. Nike. "Shane Best"

I appreciate everything NIKE.
The genius behind the company. The comfort that was crafted into designing the sneakers.

it's all about doing, their slogan screams anti-procrastination. Just Do It.

Deep Foundation Encounter....

I had the pleasure of being interviewed yesterday by a group of rappers and producers that call themselves DEEP FOUNDATION.
They filmed and recorded my interview to be added to a documentary for their upcoming mixtape.
The mixtape addresses topics like the economy and how it affected them and the community around them.
I was posed with very intelligent questions, like what made me become a film major in college? How has the economy affected me? As an international student how am i affected by the economy? How can I give back to my country? Who are my favorite hip hop artist? What genre of music do i like?

I enjoyed the interview and it gave me a chance to meet new artist on the scene.

They blessed me with a sticker for my suitcase and my laptop. HOW DOPE is that?
good luck guys. Hope to make it  to that release party.
